P&G Olympics ad saluting moms everywhere goes viral.

Thank You, Mom! That’s the message from personal care and cleaning giant Procter and Gamble. A new P&G ad is ferociously circulating the internet; making viewers weep the second they press play.

In honor of the London 2012 Olympic Games less than 100 days away, Procter & Gamble released the “Best Job” video praising mothers worldwide.

Mashable reports that in three days, the video received over 700,000+ views on YouTube.

The video, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, features mothers on four continents in London, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles and Beijing. The tearjerker shows these incredible, loving, strong, inspirational mothers raising their children and shaping them into future olympians.

The “Thank You, Mom” campaign is the largest in the company’s 174-year history, according to P&G. It ties in social media and print elements.

The official “Thank You, Mom” Facebook Page has over 25,000 likes and  features a Thank you, Mom feed where thousands of moms  are publicly “thanked”.

Have you thanked yours lately? Mother’s Day is quickly approaching.
